Read a short passage about a tall iron tower that stands in the heart of Paris.
The Eiffel Tower is a very famous building. It is in Paris, France. It was built for the 1889 World's Fair. The tower was designed by Gustave Eiffel. This is why it is called the Eiffel Tower.
برج ایفل یک ساختمان بسیار معروف است. این برج در پاریس، فرانسه قرار دارد. برای نمایشگاه جهانی 1889 ساخته شد. این برج توسط گوستاو ایفل طراحی شده است. به همین دلیل به آن برج ایفل می گویند.
The Eiffel Tower is very tall. It is 324 meters high. This makes it one of the tallest buildings in Paris. It was the tallest building in the world until 1930. You can see it from many parts of the city.
برج ایفل بسیار بلند است. ارتفاع آن 324 متر است. این باعث میشود که آن یکی از بلندترین ساختمانهای پاریس باشد. تا سال 1930 بلندترین ساختمان جهان بود. میتوانید آن را از بسیاری از نقاط شهر ببینید.
The tower is made of iron. It took more than two years to build. Many workers helped to build it. They used more than 18,000 pieces of iron. These pieces are held together by over 2.5 million rivets.

There are three levels in the Eiffel Tower. People can visit these levels. They can use elevators or stairs. The first level has a restaurant and shops. The second level has another restaurant and a great view of Paris. The third level is the highest. It has a viewing area. From here, people can see very far.
