An apartment is a housing unit that is part of a larger building or complex. It typically includes a living room, one or more bedrooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom, and is designed for individuals or families to live in. Apartments can vary in size and layout, and they are often rented or leased from a landlord or property management company who owns the entire building or complex. Residents of an apartment building share common areas, such as hallways, elevators, or laundry rooms, while maintaining privacy within their individual units. Apartments are commonly found in urban areas and are a popular choice for those seeking convenient, low-maintenance living.
