Woda to napój, którego potrzebujemy każdego dnia. Pijemy wodę, aby ugasić pragnienie i zachować zdrowie.

1.2

People have been drinking water since ancient times. In the old days, they drank water from rivers and wells. They knew water was good for them, even though they did not understand why.

Ludzie piją wodę od czasów starożytnych. W dawnych czasach pili wodę z rzek i studni.

1.3

Nowadays, we can get water from many places. We can drink it from the tap in our homes, or we can buy bottles of water from stores. Some people add flavors to their water, like lemon or strawberry, to make it taste better.

W dzisiejszych czasach możemy otrzymać wodę z wielu miejsc. Możemy pić ją z kranu w naszych domach lub możemy kupować butelki wody w sklepach. Niektórzy dodają do swojej wody smaki, takie jak cytryna czy truskawka, aby poprawić jej smak.

Water
1.4

Drinking water has many benefits. It helps us stay hydrated, which means it keeps our bodies from getting too dry. When we are hydrated, we feel better and have more energy. Water also helps our bodies get rid of waste and toxins.

1.5

Sometimes, we drink other things instead of water, like juice or soda. These drinks can be tasty, but they often have lots of sugar and other things that are not good for us. Water is the healthiest choice because it has no sugar or calories.

1.6

It is important to drink enough water every day. Doctors say we should drink about 8 cups of water, but it can be different for everyone. We should listen to our bodies and drink when we are thirsty.

Powinniśmy słuchać naszego ciała i pić, gdy jesteśmy spragnieni.

1.7

Fun fact : Did you know that water makes up about 60% of our bodies? That is more than half!

**Ciekawostka**: Czy wiesz, że woda stanowi około 60% naszego ciała? To więcej niż połowa!
