A public library is a community facility that provides free access to books, magazines, and other informational resources to all members of the public. It is funded by government sources, donations, and sometimes user fees. Public libraries offer a variety of services, including borrowing materials, internet access, educational programs, and events. They serve as a resource for learning, recreation, and community engagement.
