People have been drinking water since ancient times. In the old days, they drank water from rivers and wells. They knew water was good for them, even though they did not understand why.
As pessoas têm bebido água desde os tempos antigos. Nos velhos tempos, eles bebiam água de rios e poços. Eles sabiam que a água era boa para eles, mesmo que não entendessem o porquê.
Nowadays, we can get water from many places. We can drink it from the tap in our homes, or we can buy bottles of water from stores. Some people add flavors to their water, like lemon or strawberry, to make it taste better.
