Daily Chores

Liam wakes up at 7:00. He opens his eyes and sees the sun. The room is bright. He sits up slowly and yawns.

He gets out of bed and walks to the bathroom. He brushes his teeth with his toothbrush. The taste is fresh and clean. Then he washes his face with cool water. The water feels cold, but it helps him wake up. Liam looks in the mirror and smiles.

He goes back to his room and puts on his clothes. He chooses a white shirt and blue pants. He ties his shoes and checks his school bag. His books and pencils are inside.

In the kitchen, his mother makes breakfast. Liam sits at the table. His mother gives him a plate with bread, eggs, and a glass of milk.

He eats slowly. He eats bread and drinks milk. He feels full and ready. "Did you sleep well?" his mother asks. Liam says yes. They talk a little while he eats.

After breakfast, Liam puts his dishes in the sink. He smiles and says thank you to his mother. She smiles back.

He picks up his school bag and walks to the door. He puts on his jacket because it is cool outside. He opens the door and walks outside.

The street is quiet. The sky is blue, and the air is fresh. Liam takes a deep breath. He feels ready to start his day.
