A disc jockey, often abbreviated as DJ, is a person who selects, plays, and mixes recorded music for an audience. DJs are commonly found at live events, such as parties, clubs, and radio stations, where they create musical experiences by curating and blending tracks. They use various equipment, such as turntables, mixers, and software, to control the flow of music and often add their own creative touch by remixing or manipulating tracks. DJs play a crucial role in setting the mood and energy of an event, and they may also interact with the audience to enhance the overall experience.
