Boxers fight in a square ring with ropes around it. They punch each other to score points or knock out their opponent. Matches have rounds that last a few minutes each. The boxer with the most points or who knocks out their opponent wins.
Muhammad Ali is a famous boxer known for his fast moves and strong punches. He became a world champion and is very famous. Boxing matches are exciting events with fans cheering for their favorite boxers. Big matches are watched by millions of people all over the world.
Today, boxing matches are divided into different weight categories to make sure fighters are evenly matched. There are different kinds of punches like jabs and hooks, each with its technique. Boxers practice a lot in gyms to get stronger and faster.
Boxing has inspired movies and books that tell stories about boxers and their struggles. It is a sport that needs both physical skill and mental strength. Many boxers start training when they are young, dreaming of becoming champions.
Fun fact : The longest boxing match ever happened in 1893 and lasted 7 hours and 19 minutes. Andy Bowen and Jack Burke fought for 110 rounds before the match ended in a tie!
