Tâches quotidiennes

Julien wakes up at 7 a.m. He opens his eyes and sees the sun. The room is bright. He slowly sits up and yawns.

He gets out of bed and walks to the bathroom. He brushes his teeth with his toothbrush. The taste is fresh and clean. Then he washes his face with cold water. The water is cold, but it helps him wake up. Julien looks at himself in the mirror and smiles.

He goes back to his room and puts his clothes on. He chooses a white shirt and blue pants. He laces his shoes and checks his school bag. His books and pencils are inside.

In the kitchen, his mother prepares breakfast. Julien sits at the table. His mother gives him a plate with bread, eggs and a glass of milk.

He eats slowly. He eats bread and drinks milk. He feels full and ready. "Did you sleep well?" his mother asks. Julien answers yes. They talk a little while he eats.

After breakfast, Julien puts his plate in the sink. He smiles and says thank you to his mother. She smiles back.

He takes his school bag and walks to the door. He puts on his jacket because it's cool outside. He opens the door and goes out.

The street is calm. The sky is blue and the air is fresh. Julien breathes deeply. He feels ready to start his day.
