A cow eats grass and hay and drinks water. It can chew for a long time while resting. Cows live in fields or in the barn and walk slowly or stand still.
Cows make a sound called 'moo', and it can be loud or soft. A cow can be calm or anxious and shows its feelings with its eyes and tail.
Cows give milk, and people drink it or use it for cooking. Milk can be made into cheese or butter, also yogurt or cream. A cow is very important and helps people in many ways.
Cows can be strong; they can pull carts or carry loads. In the past, cows worked on farms and helped people grow food.
Cows live for many years and stay with other cows. A cow can be a mother, and the baby is called a calf. The calf drinks milk and grows strong and big.
Cows are large but calm animals. They provide us with milk, meat, and leather, which help people in many ways. Farmers take care of cows and use the milk to make butter, cheese, and yogurt.
