Eyes are the parts of the body that help people see.  Everyone has two eyes.  They are on the face, above the nose.  Eyes help people see things around them, like colors, shapes, and movements. 

Les yeux sont les parties du corps qui aident les gens à voir. Tout le monde a deux yeux. Ils sont sur le visage, au-dessus du nez. Les yeux aident les gens à voir les choses autour d'eux, comme les couleurs, les formes et les mouvements.

Eyes have different parts.  The colored part is called the iris.  The black part in the middle is the pupil.  The white part around the iris is called the sclera.  People can blink to keep their eyes clean and wet. 

Les yeux ont différentes parties. La partie colorée s'appelle l'iris. La partie noire au milieu est la pupille. La partie blanche autour de l'iris s'appelle la sclérotique. Les gens peuvent cligner des yeux pour les garder propres et humides.

Eyes need light to see.  When it is dark, people cannot see well.  Some people wear glasses to help them see better.  Sunglasses can protect eyes from bright sunlight.
