A cow is a big animal, and many cows live on farms.  It has four legs and a long tail.  The tail can move left and right, and it helps keep away flies.  A cow has two ears and two eyes, and it has a large nose and mouth.

Are patru picioare și o coadă lungă.

1.2
The cow has fur, and the fur can be short or long.  The fur can be white or brown, and some cows are black or gray.  Some cows have spots, and some cows have mixed colors.

1.3
A cow eats grass and hay, and it drinks water.  It can chew for a long time, and it can rest while chewing.  Cows live in fields or barns, and they walk slowly or stand still.

1.4
Cows make a sound called "moo," and the sound can be loud or soft.  A cow can be calm or scared, and it shows feelings with its eyes and tail.

Cows can be strong, and they can pull carts or carry loads.  Long ago, cows worked on farms, and they helped people grow food.

1.7
Cows live many years, and they stay with other cows.  A cow can be a mother, and the baby cow is called a calf.  The calf drinks milk, and it grows strong and tall.

1.8
