ما هو الفعل 'Be'؟
الفعل 'to be' يمكن أن يأخذ أشكالاً مختلفة في اللغة الانجليزية بناءً على الزمن والفاعل.
أشكال مختلفة للفعل 'Be'
في الزمن المضارع، يمكن أن يأخذ الفعل 'to be' ثلاثة أشكال بناءً على الفاعل:

الأسئلة مع الفعل 'To Be'
لتكوين أسئلة باستخدام الفعل 'to be'، نقوم بتغيير مكان الفاعل والفعل. على سبيل المثال:
He is an actor. → Is he an actor?
هو ممثل. ← هل هو ممثل؟
They are angry. → Are they angry?
إنهم غاضبون. ← هل هم غاضبون؟
We were home last night → Were you home last night?
لقد كنا في المنزل الليلة الماضية ← هل كنت في المنزل الليلة الماضية؟
النفي
لتكوين جملة نفي مع الفعل 'to be'، نضيف 'not' بعد الفعل.
I am studying → I am not studying.
أنا أدرس ← أنا لا أدرس.
She is busy. → She is not busy./She isn't busy.
إنها مشغولة. ← إنها ليست مشغولة..
He was happy to see us. → He was not happy to see us./He wasn’t happy to see us.
لقد كان سعيدًا برؤيتنا. ← لم يكن سعيدًا برؤيتنا.
You were a student. → You were not a student./You weren’t a student.
لقد كنت طالبًا. ← لم تكن طالبًا.
