a rest from the work or activity we usually do

a meeting in which someone asks questions to decide whether a person is suitable for a job

someone who works for a skilled person for a specific period of time to learn their skills, usually earning a low income

apprendista
done for the usual hours in a working day or week

tempo pieno
done only for a part of the working hours

tempo parziale
no longer working, typically because of old age

pensionato
to pay someone to do a job

assumere, ingaggiare
to make someone leave their job, position, etc., usually as punishment

fuoco
to get money for the job that we do or services that we provide

guadagnare, ottenere
to give up your job, school, etc.

dimettersi, lasciare
someone who is paid by another to work for them

impiegato
someone whose profession is dancing

the money that is paid to someone for doing their job
