В англійській мові речення — це група слів, яка зазвичай містить підмет і дієслово та виражає повну думку.
Великі літери
Перша літера першого слова у всіх реченнях, включаючи розповідні, окличні, спонукальні речення та питання, завжди пишеться з великої літери.
The dog is playing outside.

Розділові знаки
Розповідні речення зазвичай закінчуються крапкою (.), тоді як питання закінчуються знаком питання (?).
