Le preposizioni di tempo vengono usate per parlare di un momento specifico o di un periodo di tempo. Indicano quando o per quanto tempo accade qualcosa.

La preposizione 'at' si usa per parlare di ore specifiche, minuti e diversi momenti della giornata. Ad esempio:
at 3 o'clock → alle 3 in punto
at 9:30 → alle 9:30
at noon → a mezzogiorno
at night → di notte
at bedtime → all'ora di dormire
I'll see you at 9:00.
Ci vediamo alle 9:00.
I eat a cookie at midnight if I can't sleep.

La preposizione 'on' si usa per parlare dei giorni della settimana.
on Sunday → la domenica
on Monday → di lunedi
on weekends → nei finesettimana
on weekdays → nei giorni della settimana

I go to the gym on Wednesdays.

La preposizione 'in' si usa per parlare di mesi, anni e stagioni. Ad esempio:
in August → in agosto
in 2020 → nel 2020
in spring → in primavera
in summer → in estate
