Arbeit

Freizeit

a short item of clothing that we wear on the top part of our body, usually has sleeves and something in the front so we could close it

Jacke

a piece of clothing usually worn by men on the upper half of the body, typically with a collar and sleeves, and with buttons down the front

Hemd

a shirt for women, typically with a collar, buttons and sleeves

Bluse

a long and narrow piece of fabric tied around the collar, particularly worn by men

Krawatte

a jacket with a pair of pants or a skirt that are made from the same cloth and should be worn together

Anzug

an item of clothing that covers the lower half of our body, from our waist to our ankles, and covers each leg separately

Hose

a long and narrow item that you usually wear around your waist to hold your clothes in place or to decorate your outfit

Gürtel

a long, light coat, typically with a belt, made of water-resistant fabric that keeps us dry in the rain

Regenmantel

a piece of clothing worn by girls and women that is made in one piece and covers the body down to the legs but has no separate part for each leg

Kleid

a piece of clothing for girls or women that fastens around the waist and hangs down around the legs

Rock

something that we wear to cover and protect our feet, generally made of strong materials like leather or plastic

Schuh

shoes with tall and thin heels, usually worn by women

High Heels

a piece of clothing with long sleeves, worn outdoors and over other clothes to keep warm or dry

Mantel

a piece of clothing often with a brim that we wear on our heads, for warmth, as a fashion item or as part of a uniform

Hut

a piece of cloth, worn around the neck or head, especially to keep warm

Schal

item of clothing for our hands with a separate space for each finger

Handschuh

a piece of clothing worn on the top part of our body that is made of cotton or wool, has long sleeves and a closed front

Pullover

pants made of denim, that is a type of strong cotton cloth, and is used for a casual style

Jeans

a type of strong shoe that covers the foot and ankle and often the lower part of the leg

Stiefel

a casual short-sleeved shirt with no collar, usually made of cotton

T-Shirt

short pants that end either above or at the knees

a soft item of clothing we wear on our feet

Socke

a loose jacket or shirt and pants worn in bed

Pyjama

a light, soft shoe with a rubber sole, worn for sports or casual occasions

Turnschuh

a type of soft flat hat with a visor, typically worn by men and boys, often as part of a uniform

Kappe

a piece of clothing worn for swimming, especially by women and girls

Badeanzug

having a temperature that is high but not hot, especially in a way that is pleasant

having a temperature lower than the human body's average temperature
