O que são formas possessivas de substantivos?
Para mostrar que algo pertence a alguém ou a alguma coisa, usamos forma possessiva de substantivos. Em inglês, isso é normalmente feito adicionando um apóstrofo e a letra 's' ('s) ao final do nome do dono.
Mike has a car. → The car belongs to Mike. → This is Mike's car.
Mike tem um carro. → O carro pertence a Mike. → Este é o carro de Mike.
Kara has a doll. → The doll belongs to Kara. → This is Kara's doll.
Kara tem uma boneca. → A boneca pertence a Kara. → Esta é a boneca de Kara.
Para formar um substantivo possessivo, comece com o nome do dono, adicione um apóstrofo e a letra 's' ('s), e então adicione o nome da coisa ou objeto.
