양태 부사의 형성
양태 부사는 형용사 끝에 ‘-ly’를 붙여 만듭니다.

화가 난 → 화가 나서

부사의 철자에 주의하세요. 형용사가 ‘-y’로 끝날 때는 ‘-y’를 ‘-i’로 바꾸고 ‘-ly’를 붙입니다.

양태 부사는 주동사를 수식하므로 주동사 뒤에 옵니다.

양태 부사의 비교급과 최상급
양태 부사는 비교급과 최상급 형태로도 나타낼 수 있습니다. 비교급 부사는 두 가지를 비교하고, 최상급 부사는 세 가지 이상의 동작이나 상태 중에서 최고 수준을 나타냅니다.
-ly로 끝나지 않는 부사는 ‘-er’를 붙여 비교급을 만들고, ‘-est’를 붙여 최상급을 만듭니다.
fast → faster → fastest
빨리 → 더 빨리 → 가장 빨리
soon → sooner → soonest
곧 → 더 곧 → 가장 곧
hard → harder → hardest
심하게 → 더 심하게 → 가장 심하게
