Os adjetivos comparativos são usados para comparar duas coisas e mostrar que uma possui um nível ou grau mais alto de uma qualidade do que a outra. Por exemplo:

Este chá está mais frio do que aquele.

Miranda é mais alta do que Lucy.

Para comparar duas coisas ou pessoas, a preposição 'than' vem após o adjetivo comparativo.
Como Formar Adjetivos Comparativos?
Para adjetivos que têm uma sílaba, adiciona-se '-er' ao final do adjetivo para torná-lo comparativo. Por exemplo:
