"Angle" vs. "Angel" in English

What Is Their Main Difference?

These two words are commonly mistaken for another, but they are completely different. 'Angle' refers to a position between a vertical and a horizontal line whereas, an 'angel' is a heavenly creature with wings and is thought to be a servant of God.

As stated above, these two words are used in totally different contexts. 'Angle' refers to a line position between a vertical line and a horizontal one. Look:

However, an 'angel' is a celestial creature with wings. Many people consider them to be beautiful and kind. Check out the following examples:

Are They Interchangeable?

Since these two words have totally different meanings, they cannot be used interchangeably. Compare:

X Most angles are thought to have tiaras on their heads.

As stated above, an 'angle' shows a position between a vertical and a horizontal line and cannot have tiaras.
