Was sind Fragen?
Fragen sind Sätze, die verwendet werden, um eine Antwort oder Informationen zu erbitten. In der Schrift enden Fragen normalerweise mit einem Fragezeichen.

Es gibt zwei Hauptarten von Fragen im Englischen:
Yes–no question (Ja-/Nein-Frage)
Wh-questions (Wh-Fragen)
Ja-/Nein-Frage
Ja-/Nein-Frage sind solche, die entweder ein „yes“ oder ein „no“ als Antwort benötigen.

Wenn der Satz „be“, „do“ oder „have“ als Hilfsverben enthält, wird die Yes/No-Frage nach der folgenden Struktur gebildet:
Be/Have/Do + Subjekt + Hauptverb
Are you leaving?
Bist du am Gehen?
Has he called?
Hat er angerufen?
Does it look okay?
Sieht es gut aus?
Wenn der Satz ein Modalverb enthält, wird die Ja-/Nein-Fragen nach der folgenden Struktur gebildet:
Modalverb + Subjekt + Hauptverb
Can you swim?
Kannst du schwimmen?
Should I go?
Soll ich gehen?
Wenn der Satz kein Hilfsverb oder Modalverb enthält, wird das Hilfsverb „do“, „does“ oder „did“ hinzugefügt, um Fragen zu bilden:
Do you usually exercise?
Treibst du normalerweise Sport?
Did you forget your keys?
Hast du deine Schlüssel vergessen?
