什么是冠词？

在英语中，有两种类型的冠词：'the'被称为定冠詞，'a'/'an'被称为不定冠词。

不定冠词
'A'和'an'被称为不定冠词。它们与单数名词连用，表示任何同类的一般名词。
'a'和'an'的区别在于，'a'用于辅音音前，'an'用于元音音（a, e, i, o, u）前：

定冠詞
'The'是定冠詞。它可以用在单数或复数名词前，指代说话者和听话者都知道的特定名词。请看以下例子：
I ordered a pizza and a salad. The pizza was nice but the salad was disgusting.
我点了一份披萨和一份沙拉。披萨很好吃，但沙拉很难吃。
That is the school that Mary went to.
那是玛丽上过的学校。
Mary has a dog. The dog's name is Rover.
玛丽有一只狗。这只狗的名字叫罗弗。
在第二句中，已经明确提到了是哪只狗，因此使用了定冠詞。
