What Is Their Main Difference?

Both are adjectives. However, when someone views things objectively, they refer to facts, whereas, someone who views things subjectively, lets their emotions get involved,

Differences

When someone is objective, they simply point out the facts, while, someone who views the world subjectively, they tend to involve their emotions. So, subjectivity is personal, but 'objectivity' is not. Check out the examples below

Example

Most neoclassic scholars tended to see the world objectively.

Subjectivity is about one's emotions.

Similarities

These two share no similarities. In fact, they are antonyms.

Are They Interchangeable?

These adjectives are antonyms. So, we cannot use them instead of one another. Compare:

Example

✓ Therapists tend to view the clients' problems objectively.

X Therapists tend to view the clients' problems subjectively.

This sentence is correct, but its meaning is the complete opposite of the former.
