Renounce vs. Denounce
What Is Their Main Difference?
They share similar dictations. However, 'renounce' means officially refusing to claim something. We can also use it in the sense of showing we have given up or stopped something, while, 'denounce' means officially condemn something.

'Renounce' means stopping to do something, or it can also mean refusing to claim something, while, 'denounce' means attacking something/someone officially. Check out the examples below:

Are They Interchangeable?
Since they have differences in their meanings, they cannot be used interchangeably. Compare:
