Consonant Clusters with sm-, sn- and sl-

This drill will focus on "sm-", "sn-", and "sl-" combinations, presenting clusters which appear before different vowels (CCV patterns). Practicing these patterns helps you master these useful clusters of the sound /s/ and learn to pronounce them without adding extra vowels.

sm- Clusters

These are all Consonant + Consonant + Vowel combinations. Repeat each word at least 3 times.

s + m + Short i → /smɪ/
