Tenses

What Are Grammatical Tenses and How Do They Help Us?

'Tense' shows when an action happens. In English, they are categorized into three groups. Present, past, and future. Some grammarians believe tenses are created by adding suffixes to the verbs, so it may open the concept of 'mood,' in English.
'Mood' is created by using the inflection of verbs to help express the speaker's attitude toward what they are talking about.
