a person or thing that is different or distinct from one already mentioned or known about

Ex:
anyone [pronoun]

used for referring to a person when who that person is does not matter

Ex: If anyone has objections , please speak up now .
anything [pronoun]

used for referring to a thing when it is not important what that thing is

Ex: You can take anything you need from the supply closet .
many [pronoun]

used to indicate a large but unspecified number or portion of a group of people or things

Ex: Many of the houses in the neighborhood were built in the early 20th century .
more [pronoun]

used to refer to things or people in greater numbers, degrees, or amounts

Ex: The store has plenty of options , but I 'm looking for more .
what [pronoun]

used in questions to ask for information or for someone’s opinion

Ex: What is your favorite color ?
who [pronoun]

used in questions to ask about the name or identity of one person or several people

Ex: Who is helping you with your homework ?
