Ce Este Modul Imperativ?
Modul imperativ în engleză este folosit pentru a ordona sau a cere cuiva să facă sau să nu facă ceva. Aruncă o privire la aceste exemple:
You can go to your room. → Go to your room!
Poți să te duci în camera ta. → Du-te în camera ta!
You need to start. → Start!
Trebuie să începi. → Începe!
You should respect your mother. → Respect your mother!
Ar trebui să-ți respecți mama. → Respectă-ți mama!
Structura
Modul imperativ este format folosind forma de bază a verbului principal la începutul propoziției, fără subiect. Propozițiile imperative se termină adesea cu semnul exclamării, dar în unele cazuri, se pot termina cu punct. Aruncă o privire la exemple:
Finish your meal!
Termin-ți masa!
Speak to your doctor!
Vorbește cu doctorul tău!
Bring the keys, please.
Adu cheile, te rog.
Sfat!
Un singur verb principal poate fi o propoziție imperativă, dar numai dacă este folosit în forma de bază și fără subiect. Verifică exemplele:
Go!
Du-te!
Start!
Începe!
Imperativul Negativ
Pentru a da o ordine negativă, „do not“ (sau „don't“) este folosit la începutul propoziției imperative. Acesta este folosit pentru a spune cuiva să nu facă ceva. Iată câteva exemple:
Don't touch my hair!
Nu-mi atinge părul!
Don't show me the cat!
Nu-mi arăta pisica!
Do not drink water in the class!
Nu bea apă în clasă!
Please!
Pentru a face o cerere sau o ordine politicosă, cuvântul „please“ este folosit la sfârșitul propoziției imperative. Când folosești „please“, este important să folosești o „virgulă“ înainte de cuvânt. Verifică exemplele:

Shave your beard, please!
