"Lite" vs. "Light" in English

What Is Their Main Difference?

Both refer to brightness. However, 'light' is the standard version used in formal writing, while, 'lite' is a common informal spelling.

'Light' is the standard version, whereas, 'lite' is the informal spelling that is mostly used in everyday speech. Look at the examples below:
