a public path for vehicles in a village, town, or city, usually with buildings, houses, etc. on its sides

bank [noun]

a financial institution that keeps and lends money and provides other financial services

Ex: She checked her account balance using the bank 's mobile app .

hospital [noun]

a large building where sick or injured people receive medical treatment and care

Ex: They work as nurses at the hospital , taking care of patients ' needs .

restaurant [noun]

a place where we pay to sit and eat a meal

Ex: They celebrated their anniversary at a fancy restaurant overlooking the city .

movie theater [noun]

a place where we go to watch movies

a large store that we can go to and buy food, drinks and other things from

a long and hard seat that is normally made of metal or wood and two or multiple people can sit on

museum [noun]

a place where important cultural, artistic, historical, or scientific objects are kept and shown to the public

Ex: I visited the museum to learn about ancient civilizations .

park [noun]

a large public place in a town or a city that has grass and trees and people go to for walking, playing, and relaxing

Ex: The children were happily playing in the park .

hotel [noun]

a building where we give money to stay and eat food in when we are traveling

Ex: I stayed at a luxurious hotel during my vacation .

police [noun]

(plural) a group of people whose job is to catch thieves, killers, etc. and make sure everyone follows rules

Ex: The police apprehended the thief and recovered the stolen items .

map [noun]

an image that shows where things like countries, seas, cities, roads, etc. are in an area

Ex: She discovered a hidden gem by exploring the less-known areas on the map .
