when [conjunction]

used to indicate that two things happen at the same time or during something else

Ex: I 'll call you when I finish my work .
after [adverb]

at a later time

Ex: He promised to call , but we never heard from him after .
while [noun]

a span of time

Ex: The children played in the park for a while , enjoying the warm afternoon sun .
ago [adverb]

used to refer to a time in the past, showing how much time has passed before the present moment

Ex: I finished reading that book a month ago .
eventually [adverb]

after or at the end of a series of events or an extended period

Ex: They faced many obstacles , but eventually , they overcame all difficulties and reached their goal .
suddenly [adverb]

in a way that is quick and unexpected

Ex: It began to rain suddenly while we were playing football .
finally [adverb]

after a long time, usually when there has been some difficulty

Ex: The bus was delayed , but it finally arrived at the station just in time .
as [conjunction]

used to say that something is happening at the same time with another

Ex: As the wind blew , the leaves rustled in the trees .
