the process of arriving at a location such as an airport, a hotel, etc., and reporting one's presence

تسجيل الوصول

Ex: After a long flight , we proceeded to the hotel lobby for check-in and were warmly greeted by the reception staff .

بعد رحلة طيران طويلة، توجهنا إلى بهو الفندق لإتمام عملية تسجيل الوصول وحظينا بترحيب حار من موظفي الاستقبال.

departure [اسم]

the act of leaving, usually to begin a journey

مغادرة

Ex: The departure of the train was delayed by half an hour .

تأخر مغادرة القطار نصف ساعة.

gate [اسم]

the part of a fence or wall outside a building that we can open and close to enter or leave a place

بوابة

Ex: She waited for him outside the school gate .

انتظرته خارج بوابة المدرسة.

lift [اسم]

a box-like device that goes up and down and is used to get to the different floors of a building

مصعد

Ex: She pressed the button and waited for the lift to arrive .

ضغطت على الزر وانتظرت وصول المصعد.

terminal [اسم]

a building where trains, buses, planes, or ships start or finish their journey

محطة

Ex: She arrived at the bus terminal just in time to catch her ride.

وصلت إلى محطة الحافلات في الوقت المناسب تمامًا لالتقاط حافلتها.

trolley [اسم]

a vehicle that has two or four wheels and is used to carry objects in an airport, terminal, or supermarket

عربة

Ex: She pushed her trolley through the supermarket , filling it with fresh produce and other groceries .

دفعت عربتها عبر السوبر ماركت، وملأتها بالمنتجات الطازجة وغيرها من البقالة.

the place at an airport or port where passengers' bags are checked for illegal goods as they enter a country

الجمرك

Ex: They passed through customs quickly , as they had nothing to declare .

مروا بسرعة عبر الجمرك، لأنهم لم يكن لديهم ما يعلنون عنه.
