Де розміщуються прикметники?
Прикметники — це слова, що описують іменники. Вони можуть розташовуватися перед іменниками або після дієслова «be».
Перед іменниками
Прикметники часто використовуються перед іменниками, які вони описують. Ось кілька прикладів:
a beautiful girl
красива дівчина
the wild cat
дика кішка
a fluffy sheep
пухнаста вівця
the kind witch
добра відьма
Ось як ці прикметники виглядають у повних реченнях:
I can see a red circle.
Я бачу червоне коло.
He is a sad boy.
Він сумний хлопчик.
Після дієслова «Be»
Прикметники також можуть розташовуватися після дієслова «be». Ось приклади:
The dog is black.
Собака чорний.
The panda is sleepy.
Панда сонна.
I am angry.
Я злий.
That old woman is kind.
Та стара жінка добра.
Тут «old» — це прикметник перед іменником, а «kind» — прикметник після дієслова "be".
Кількість прикметників
Можна використовувати два або більше прикметників перед іменником, який хочемо описати. Ось приклади:
