Unde Sunt Plasate Adjectivele?
Adjectivele în engleză sunt cuvinte care descriu substantivele. Ele pot veni înaintea substantivelor sau după verbul „to be“.
Înaintea Substantivelor
Așa cum am menționat mai sus, un adjectiv poate fi folosit înaintea substantivului pe care îl descrie. Uitați-vă mai jos:
A beautiful girl
O fată frumoasă
„Girl“ (fată) este un substantiv.
The wild cat
Pisica sălbatică
A fluffy sheep
O oaie pufoasă
The kind witch
Vrăjitoarea bună
Acum, aruncați o privire la plasarea lor în propoziții complete:
I can see a red circle.
Pot vedea un cerc roșu.
He is a sad boy.
El este un băiat trist.
După Verbul „To Be“
Putem plasa, de asemenea, adjectivele după verbele „to be“. Verificați exemplele următoare:
The dog is black.
Câinele este negru.
The panda is sleepy.
Panda este somnoros.
I am angry.
Eu sunt supărat.
That old woman is kind.
Acea femeie bătrână este amabilă.
Aici, „old“ (bătrână) este un adjectiv înaintea substantivului și „kind“ (amabilă) este un adjectiv după verbul „to be“.
Numărul de Adjective
Putem avea două sau mai multe adjective înaintea substantivului pe care dorim să-l descriem. Uitați-vă la exemplele următoare:
