أين توضع الصفات؟
الصفات هي الكلمات التي تصف الأسماء. يمكن أن تأتي قبل الأسماء أو بعد فعل 'to be'.
قبل الأسماء
كما ذكرنا أعلاه، يمكن استخدام الصفة قبل الاسم الذي تصفه. انظر أدناه:
a beautiful girl
فتاة جميلة
'Girl' هو اسم.
the wild cat
القط البري
a fluffy sheep
خروف ناعم
the kind witch
الساحرة الطيبة
الآن، انظر إلى مكانها في الجمل الكاملة:
I can see a red circle.
أستطيع رؤية دائرة حمراء
He is a sad boy.

بعد فعل 'Be'
يمكننا أيضًا وضع الصفات بعد أفعال 'be'. انظر إلى الأمثلة التالية:
The dog is black.
الكلب أسود.
The panda is sleepy.
الباندا نعسان.
I am angry.
أنا غاضب.
That old woman is kind.
تلك المرأة العجوز طيبة
هنا، 'old' هي صفة قبل الاسم و'kind' هي صفة بعد فعل 'to be'.
عدد الصفات
يمكن أن يكون لدينا صفتان أو أكثر قبل الاسم الذي نريد وصفه. انظر إلى الأمثلة التالية:
