If there is more than one adverb in a sentence, you should pay attention to their order of appearance. Note that not all of them are necessary to the meaning of the sentence. Here is the order of adverbs:
- Adverbs of manner
- Adverbs of place
- Adverbs of frequency
- Adverbs of time
Here are a few examples:
She danced
Here, 'gracefully' is an adverb of manner, and 'on the stage' is an adverb of place.
