a large place where planes take off and land, with buildings and facilities for passengers to wait for their flights

Ex: We had to show our passports and boarding passes at the airport immigration checkpoint .
passport [noun]

a document for traveling between countries

Ex: I need to update my passport photo .

a ticket or card that passengers must show to be allowed on a ship or plane

Ex: She was relieved when she found her boarding pass in her coat pocket .

Ex: The train conductor moved up and down the aisle , checking tickets and assisting passengers with their luggage .
on time [adverb]

exactly at the specified time, neither late nor early

Ex: I need to wake up early to get to the station on time .
delayed [adjective]

happening later than the intended or expected time

Ex: There was a delayed reaction to the surprising news at the meeting .
