विराम-चिह्न क्या हैं?
विराम-चिह्न लेखन में प्रयुक्त ऐसे चिन्ह और चिह्नों का समूह हैं जो वाक्यों और वाक्यांशों के अर्थ को स्पष्ट बनाने में मदद करते हैं।
विराम-चिह्न
अंग्रेज़ी में कई प्रकार के विराम-चिह्न होते हैं। इनमें से कुछ हैं:
full stop (.) (पूर्ण विराम)
question mark (?) (प्रश्नवाचक चिन्ह)
exclamation mark (!) (विश्मयादिबोधक चिन्ह)

पूर्ण विरामs

'विश्मयादिबोधक चिन्ह' (!) यह दर्शाता है कि वक्ता किसी बात को तीव्र भावनाओं जैसे क्रोध, आश्चर्य, खुशी आदि के साथ व्यक्त कर रहा है। निम्नलिखित उदाहरणों को देखें:
