اعداد کیا ہیں؟
اعداد علامتیں ہیں جو اشیاء کی مقدار یا تعداد کو ظاہر کرنے کے لیے استعمال ہوتی ہیں۔
یہ سبق آپ کو انگریزی میں عدد 1 سے 100 تک پڑھنا اور لکھنا سکھائے گا۔
1-10
یہاں ایک سے لے کر دس تک کے اعداد کی فہرست ہے:
1 → one → ایک
2 → two → دو
3 → three → تین
4 → four → چار
5 → five → پانچ
6 → six → چھے
7 → seven → سات
8 → eight → آٹھ
9 → nine → نو
10 → ten → دس

اعداد جیسے 21، 22 وغیرہ لکھنے کے لیے، عددی حصوں کے درمیان ایک ہائفن (-) رکھا جاتا ہے۔ یہ قاعدہ 21 سے 99 تک تمام عددی مجموعات کے لیے درست ہے۔
21 → twenty-one → اکیس
24 → twenty-four → چوبیس
27 → twenty-seven → ستائیس
29 → twenty-nine → انتیس
توجہ!
انگریزی میں، عددی مجموعہ جیسے 35 کو "thirty and five" کی طرح نہیں پڑھا جاتا، بلکہ "thirty-five" کے طور پر پڑھا جاتا ہے۔
