সংখ্যা কী?
সংখ্যা হল চিহ্ন যা জিনিসের পরিমাণ বা পরিমাণ প্রদর্শন করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। এই পাঠে, আপনি ইংরেজিতে 1 থেকে 100 নম্বর পড়তে এবং লিখতে শিখবেন।

সংখ্যাগুলি যেমন ২১, ২২ ইত্যাদি লিখতে হলে যৌগিক সংখ্যার অংশগুলোর মধ্যে একটি ড্যাশ (-) রাখা হয়। এই নিয়ম ২১ থেকে ৯৯ পর্যন্ত সকল যৌগিক সংখ্যার জন্য সত্য।
21 → twenty-one → একুশ
24 → twenty-four → চব্বিশ
27 → twenty-seven → সাতাশ
29 → twenty-nine → উনত্রিশ
মনোযোগ!
ইংরেজিতে, ৩৫ এর মতো একটি যৌগিক সংখ্যা 'thirty and five' হিসাবে পড়া হয় না, বরং 'thirty-five' হিসাবে পড়া হয়।
১০ এর গুণফল
নীচের তালিকায় ১০ এর গুণফলের লিখিত রূপ দেখানো হয়েছে, যেমন ২০, ৩০, ৪০ ইত্যাদি।
30 → thirty → ত্রিশ
40 → forty → চল্লিশ
50 → fifty → পঞ্চাশ
