Use
Our as a possessive determiner generally shows the speakers or the writers own something. It has other uses as well. Have a look:
- Our as a possessive determiner is used to show possession or ownership; for example:

- Our is impersonal. That means something can belong to anyone; for example:

'Our health' means 'everyone's health.'

- Our is used to refer to kings, queens, judges, etc. For example:
- Our is used to refer to a member of the family. In this case, names should be mentioned. For example:

Position in a Sentence
Our as a possessive determiner always comes before a noun or a noun phrase. For example:
'Winning the game' is a gerund and a noun phrase.
