Pre-determiners are a type of determiners in English grammar that come before other determiners in a noun phrase. They are used to add additional information about the noun and provide further specificity.

Multipliers as Pre-determiners
Multipliers are used to indicate a multiple of the noun being described. They can be used with both countable and uncountable nouns. Study the following examples:

Distributives
'All' and 'both' are the only distributives that can be used before other determiners. Please remember that 'both' is used only with countable nouns whereas 'all' is used with countable and uncountable nouns. Study the following examples carefully:
