computer screen [noun]

a screen that displays a computer's output

Ex: You can adjust the brightness of your computer screen in settings .

component [noun]

a part that combines with others to form a larger whole, often separable and functional within a system

Ex: This component is responsible for the power supply .

command [noun]

an instruction that tells a computer to perform a specific task or function

Ex: The programmer wrote a batch file containing multiple commands to automate the software installation process .

monitor [noun]

a screen that shows information or images generated by a computer

Ex: She cleaned the monitor to remove fingerprints and smudges .

the flat panel on a television, computer, etc. on which images and information are displayed

a narrow strip placed on the edge of a computer's display screen that one uses to move what is being displayed up or down to see different parts of it

Ex: She used the scroll bar to scroll through the long list of files .

cursor [noun]

a movable mark on a computer screen that indicates where the user is working

Ex: She moved the cursor across the document to highlight the relevant text .
