after the typical or expected time

Ex: We ate dinner late because we were waiting for dad to come home .
early [adverb]

before the usual or scheduled time

Ex: The concert started early because the band was ready .
later [adverb]

at a time following the current or mentioned moment, without specifying exactly when

Ex: They decided to start their trip later in the morning .

after the time mentioned or in the future

at an earlier point in time

at an earlier time or point

Ex: We addressed this issue priorly , so it should not be a concern now .

at the beginning or in the initial stages of a process, event, or period

without being late or delayed

exactly at the specified time, neither late nor early

before the scheduled or expected time

before the expected, appropriate, or natural time

from a particular time onward
