a space in a building with walls, a floor, and a ceiling where people do different activities

the structure that creates the outer top part of a vehicle, building, etc.

Dach
the highest part of a room, vehicle, etc. that covers it from the inside

Decke
the part of a house where people spend time together talking, watching television, relaxing, etc.

Wohnzimmer
a room that we use to eat meals in

Esszimmer
the place in a building or home where we make food

Küche
a room we use for sleeping

Schlafzimmer
a room that has a toilet and a sink, and often times a bathtub or a shower as well

Badezimmer
the land that is joined to our house and we can grow plants there

Garten
on or toward a higher part of a building

on or toward a lower part of a building, particularly the first floor

unten
a small space or room built into a wall, which is used to store things and is usually shelved

Wandschrank
any of the pieces making a whole, when combined

Teil, Stück
a box-like device that moves up and down and is used to get to the different levels of a building
