symptom [noun]

a change in the normal condition of the body of a person, which is the sign of a disease

Ex: Muscle aches and fatigue are common symptoms of many viral infections .

dizzy [adjective]

unable to keep one's balance and feeling as though everything is circling around one, caused by an illness or looking down from a high place

Ex: Low blood sugar levels can cause people with diabetes to feel dizzy and disoriented .

nauseous [adjective]

feeling as if one is likely to vomit

Ex: After spinning in circles for too long , he began to feel nauseous and had to sit down .

weak [adjective]

structurally fragile or lacking durability

Ex: The table leg was weak and wobbled dangerously .

short of breath [phrase]

facing difficulties when breathing

Ex: She was short of breath due to the heavy smoke in the room .

to vomit [verb]

to eject what has been eaten or drunk through the mouth

Ex: Yesterday , he unexpectedly vomited after having dinner at the restaurant .

to cough [verb]

to push air out of our mouth with a sudden noise

Ex: Please cover your mouth when you cough .

to sneeze [verb]

to blow air out of our nose and mouth in a sudden way

Ex: If you sneeze into your hand , remember to wash it afterwards .

to wheeze [verb]

to breathe with difficulty, especially with a whistling or rattling sound

Ex: Smoking can contribute to lung problems , leading individuals to wheeze over time .

pain [noun]

the unpleasant feeling caused by an illness or injury

Ex: The dentist gave me medicine to ease the pain .

chest [noun]

the front part of the body between the neck and the stomach

Ex: She felt a sense of relief as a weight was lifted off her chest .

hip [noun]

each of the parts above the legs and below the waist at either side of the body

Ex: She wore a sash that draped elegantly over her hip .

rib [noun]

each of the curved bones surrounding the chest to protect the organs inside

Ex: The ribs expand and contract with each breath , helping to facilitate respiration .

the body part inside our body where the food that we eat goes
