to return to a person or place

يعود

Ex: I will come back home after I finish my work at the office .

سأأعود إلى المنزل بعد أن أنهي عملي في المكتب.

to call back [فعل]

to contact someone when the first attempt to communicate was missed or was unsuccessful

الاتصال مرة أخرى

Ex: I'll call the client back as soon as I finish this meeting.

سأأتصل مرة أخرى بالعميل بمجرد أن أنهي هذا الاجتماع.

to go back [فعل]

to return to a previous location, position, or state

العودة

Ex: He decided to go back to the old town where he grew up.

قرر أن يعود إلى البلدة القديمة حيث نشأ.

to give back [فعل]

to restore or return something that was lost or taken away

إعادة

Ex: He promised to give back the lost wallet to its rightful owner .

وعد بأن يعيد المحفظة الضائعة إلى صاحبها الشرعي.

to pay back [فعل]

to return an amount of money that was borrowed

سداد

Ex: They set up a monthly plan to pay the bank back for the mortgage.

قاموا بوضع خطة شهرية لسداد المال للبنك لقرض الرهن العقاري.

to send back [فعل]

to return an item to its initial owner or sender, typically due to dissatisfaction or mismatch

إعادة الإرسال

Ex: I had to send the damaged product back to the manufacturer for a refund.

كان عليَّ إعادة إرسال المنتج التالف إلى المصنع لاسترداد المال.

to take back [فعل]

to regain the possession of a thing or person

استعادة

Ex: She took back her stolen wallet from the thief .

لقد استعادت محفظتها المسروقة من اللص.
