Co je negace?
Negace znamená udělat větu zápornou, aby se ukázalo, že něco není pravda nebo se něco nestane.
Dvě záporná slova
Dvě slova se v angličtině běžně používají k vytvoření záporné věty:
no
not
No
„No“ se používá jako záporná odpověď na otázku, na kterou lze odpovědět ano/ne.
- 'Is there any cake left for me?' + 'No! Sorry!'
- „Zbyl pro mě nějaký dort?“ + „Ne! Promiň!“
Může také stát před podstatným jménem, aby vytvořil zápornou větu a vyjádřil negaci.

Not
