نفی چیست؟
نفی به معنای منفی کردن جمله برای نشان دادن این است که چیزی درست نیست یا اتفاق نمی افتد.
کلمات منفی‌ساز
در زبان انگلیسی دو کلمه معمولاٌ برای منفی کردن جمله استفاده می‌شوند:
No
Not
No
'No' به عنوان پاسخ منفی به سوالات بله/خیر استفاده می شود.
Is there any cake left for me?
No! Sorry!
'No' همچنین می‌تواند قبل از اسم بیاید تا جمله‌ای منفی بسازد و نفی را نشان دهد.
We have no time to celebrate.
ما وقت جشن گرفتن نداریم.
He has no friends.
او هیچ دوستی ندارد.
همانطور که می‌بینید، نفی در جملات فارسی از طریق فعل بیان می‌شود.
Not
'Not' رایج‌ترین کلمه‌ای است که با فعل‌ها برای نشان دادن نفی استفاده می‌شود. برای مثال:
I am not a student.
من دانش آموز نیستم.
حالت کوتاه 'not' "n't" است و اغلب بعد از فعل‌های کمکی یا فعل‌های وجهی برای منفی کردن جمله به کار می‌رود..
She isn't working on Friday.
او جمعه کار نمی‌کند.
I can't sing.
من نمی‌توانم آواز بخوانم.
